CASCARA SAGRADA
    (Rhamnus purshiana)

    This herb, also known as sacred bark, is a small tree that can grow up to 33 feet tall. The leaves are oblong, dark glossy green, the flowers are small and greenish-yellow and the berries are blue-black to purplish-black.
    Cascara Sagrada is rich in vitamin A, vitamin B2, vitamin B5, manganese, potassium and calcium.

    Among hoodoos it is believed to be a Lucky Court Case herb. They belive that if you burn Cascara Sagrada on charcoal before the court date and pray for deliverance, things will go better.
