CRANBERRY
(Vaccinium macrocarpon)

Cranberry is a low-growing shrub of the heath family with leathery leaves and red berries.

Cranberries contain antioxidant substances called proanthocyanidins, which are members of the chemical family known as anthocyanosides. Cranberries are also rich in vitamin C.

Cranberries have long been regarded as folk treatments for urinary infections.

There are many ways to enjoy cranberries. Add them to desserts, salads and preserves.
